The Sea Girt Police Department is the primary law enforcement entity responsible for the Borough of Sea Girt, NJ. Sea Girt is located in Monmouth County, NJ and is home to 2,148 residents. The area of Sea Girt is 1.05 square miles of land area. We are bordered on the east by the Atlantic Ocean, the south by the Borough of Manasquan, to the west by the Township of Wall, and to the north by the Boroughs of Spring Lake and Spring Lake Heights.
The Sea Girt Police Department is under the command of Chief Kevin T. Davenport. The Department is staffed by 11 full time police officers and 3 school crossing guards. The Department staff is supplemented by part-time special officers who are assigned patrol or special duties as needed.
