In an effort to provide a more reliable means of communications of emergency information with residents and businesses in the Borough of Sea Girt, we have implemented the Swiftreach Emergency Notification System. 

 

Switchreach Networks Inc. has been contracted as our emergency notification service provider.

Swiftreach Emergency Notification System is a system to be used by the Police Department, Fire Department, Public Work Department, or Office of Emergency Management to notify, via phone, e-mail, or text message, information regarding you or your property.  These messages may include information, but not limited to, floods, fires, water emergencies, road closures, missing persons, evacuation orders, and weather emergencies.  Messages can be left on voice mail systems, and in the cases of evacuations orders, a report will be sent to the Police Department so we can determine who has not received the messages.

 

The Swiftreach Network Data has been provided by a third party data provider and only includes the phone numbers registered at the addresses here in Sea Girt.  It is important for residents and business owners to provide additional contact information such as alternate landline phone number, cell phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and text message receiving numbers.  Accurate numbers in this database will ensure emergency information will be passed on to everyone in a timely manner.

 

This information will be kept by the police department and WILL NOT be provided to any outside agencies or companies.  All  submitted information will be updated and managed by a police officer in the Sea Girt Police Department and will be kept for emergency notification purposes only.
