Sea Girt Police Promotions & Retirement

Chief Macko and the members of the Sea Girt Police Department would like to congratulate Matthew Mason, Bryan Fasano and Randolph Maccanico on their promotions that took place on May 11, 2022.

Lieutenant Matthew Mason began his career with the Sea Girt Police Department in 2004. Lt. Mason has served as a Special Officer I, Special Officer II, Dispatcher, Patrolman, Detective and has served as a Sergeant since 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stockton University and he will oversee the Administrative and Support Services Divisions of the Sea Girt Police Department.

Sergeant Bryan Fasano began his career with the Sea Girt Police Department in 2010. Sgt. Fasano has served as a Special Officer I, Special Officer II, Patrolman, and recently served as our agency’s Detective since 2021. Sgt. Fasano attended Iona College and currently attends Monmouth University. He will be assigned as a supervisor to the Patrol Bureau and Investigations Division.

Patrolman Randolph Maccanico began his career with the Sea Girt Police Department in 2018. Patrolman Maccanico has served as a Special Officer I and Special Officer II. Ptl. Maccanico is a graduate of The Academy of Law and Public Safety and holds an Associates Degree in Social Science from Brookdale Community College. He will be assigned to the Patrol Bureau.

Retired Lieutenant John DeMillio was also recognized during the ceremony for his 32 years of service to the Borough of Sea Girt.
