In order to comply with our fire official’s order, the Sea Girt Police Department will begin enforcing the fire zone in front of the Sea Girt Elementary School Building (except for the two handicapped spots) by the end of September. Motorists will be allowed to pull up in this area to drop off, pick up, and/or wait for pedestrians. Any vehicle found in this FIRE ZONE without the driver present will be towed at the owner’s expense. This FIRE ZONE will not just be enforce during the hours that the school is open and in sessions. The police department will be placing trafic cones in the area of the FIRE ZONE during school hours so that parents area aware of this area from the first day of school.
