The Sea Girt Police Department is committed to the safety of students and staff that attend Sea Girt Elementary School. We take this commitment very seriously.

We work in partnership with the Sea Girt Board of Education and School Superintendent Rick Papera to provide a safe environment for the students and staff by:

 

• Immediate Rapid Response in the event of a critical incident

• Roaming patrols around the school

• School Zone Speed Enforcement morning and afternoon

• Daily periodic walk throughs of the school

• Participation in monthly drills

• LEAD program for 5th grade students

We aim to create positive interactions and foster a sense of security & friendship with the Sea Girt Elementary School community.  We want our residents to know that we are here for the safety & security of the children, educators, School staff and administration every day.

It is a commitment we do not take lightly.
